Following some landmark agreements, such as the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA), the delegation closely follows developments in the bilateral relations between the EU and Canada. In addition to annual inter-parliamentary meetings with its counterparts in the Canada-Europe Parliamentary Association of the Parliament of Canada, regular meetings are held in the European Parliament. The delegation aims to deepen and intensify dialogue with the Parliament of Canada.
